Dave - considering that all of their drums and samples were recorded using an 8 bit sampler (worse than that one you had in eeebleee!) it's no wonder they sounded rough!
You can download loads of Klyvz stuff on last fm if you don't have it all already

I love The Klyvz! Jodie Foster Disappears Into A Man is a great track. Gonna find it on my iPod. Someone should remix their stuff though, or polish it up a little. There's lo-fi then there's The Klyvz. Sounds like it was recorded using baked bean cans and bits of string.

Yeah, I was going to mention that. OU has produced some great bands recently - namely MBICR and before that The Klyvz - both of whom were, in my opinion, better than TTNG and Fell City Girl.

Another eminently readable review, Colin.

I'm sure there must be some good OU bands in the past decade. I suppose Foals don't count due to the stigma of dropping out, so I guess we'll have to revert to Communist Russia.

Plenty of good musicians in town after leaving OU, but not manyat the time...I guess 8 week tersm just aren't long enough.
